I just heard on the news that gay people who are already married will most likely still be recognized as married couples because they will be grandfathered in.
So the point of Prop 8 is completely moot.

Known as “the atheist guy,” Hall has been called immoral, a devil worshipper and — just as severe to some soldiers — gay, none of which, he says, is true.
This surprises me not at all. Atheists are vastly misunderstood in this country, and the military isn’t exactly the cradle of understanding.

Crips founder Tookie Williams was denied clemency and will be executed tonight.
I don’t know much about the case, nor do I care. All I know is that the government is murdering someone tonight, and not only do we have people supporting this, we have people celebrating this.

The bi-partisan U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has issued their report on this administration’s record on civil rights.
