I opened this article because I knew, I knew, that Youngstown was going to be in the top 10 most affordable housing markets. And the whole dang article was about the city.
The Youngstown metro area, which has a median income of $52,000 and a median home price of $77,000, is the second most affordable metro area in the U.S., according to the new National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Opportunity Index (HOI) for the second quarter.
But of COURSE. Has this author been to Youngstown? I’m surprised they aren’t giving away houses just to get people to live there.
